N size NiMH battery is one of the various types of NiMH batteries. Due to its small design, N size NiMH battery is often used in various portable electronic devices.
In September 2024, our company received an inquiry from a German company, hoping to customize a 4.8v N size NiMH battery pack as a replacement battery for its industrial equipment. The customer provided the battery pack drawings and assembly requirements:
1. The battery pack size tolerance must be controlled within ±0.05mm, and the battery cell combination angle error must be ≤0.5°.
2. Compatible with the cable interface and anti-vibration plug of the customer’s equipment.
3. Self-adhesive label printing on the surface of the finished product.
Our technical team carefully studied the customer’s drawings and requirements. After comprehensive evaluation, we believe that our N size NiMH battery cells and battery pack assembly process can fully meet customer requirements. After communicating with the customer, we decided to make a batch of samples for the customer and send them to Germany for testing.
Our company adheres to the principle of extremely fast response, and various departments cooperate with each other to strictly control the arrangement of battery cells, angle control, welding process and packaging process during the assembly process. O sample was produced within 15 dias and passed the quality inspection: the dimensions of the battery pack were within the specified tolerance range, and the battery pack capacity consistency reached 99.2%.
After receiving the sample, the customer conducted a rigorous test for 30 dias. After that, we received an email and the customer said that he was very satisfied with the sample. The size and angle of the customized NiMH battery pack fully meet the requirements, and it performs well in charge and discharge cycles and load tests in the temperature range of -20℃ to 60℃.
After that, the customer’s purchasing department contacted us to communicate the purchase of bulk orders. After discussing payment terms, prices, transportation methods and other issues, we received a formal order, manufactured the first batch of customized N size NiMH battery packs for the customer, and shipped the goods according to the agreed delivery date.
